I’m Jenifer Morrison, LMFT, a somatic therapist certified in the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) and an Intermediate Level student in Somatic Experiencing (SE). I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, and complex trauma, as well as creatives, athletes, and caregivers who are often highly capable on the outside—but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode on the inside.

My approach is collaborative, body-based, and grounded in nervous system safety. Rather than pushing through symptoms or relying solely on insight, we work with the body to build regulation, capacity, and a felt sense of internal safety. Therapy is paced carefully—supporting stability first, then gently expanding what feels possible.

I believe healing doesn’t come from trying harder. It comes from learning how to work with your nervous system—so you can respond to life with more ease, confidence, and choice.

You’re not broken. You may have just never been given the roadmap to your own nervous system.

Outside of therapy, I’m drawn to experiences that help the body feel both grounded and alive—sometimes quiet and spacious, sometimes energized and dynamic. I believe the body tells the truth when we slow down enough to listen and when we allow ourselves to engage with what brings vitality and presence. These aren’t just personal preferences; they’re part of how I live what I teach. This perspective guides how I show up in therapy—steady and attuned, while also supporting strength, activation, and the capacity to meet life with greater choice and confidence.

A little more about how I live this work

Therapy with me is not about fixing yourself or reliving everything you’ve been through. It’s about building a relationship with your body that feels safe, responsive, and trustworthy—so you can move through life feeling more at home in yourself.
